According to DoNanza, social media marketing is booming in the freelance market. If you are active in social media, then there is a very good chance for you to make money.
DoNanza is an Israeli based search engine for freelance projects. It says that social media marketing projects have grown by 67% from last year in home based freelance projects. This revelation is based on informations collected from Odesk, Elance and other freelancing sites.
To obtain this data DoNanza has analyzed 1,50,000 projects on hundreds of online market places. Facebook dominates the social media marketing with 120% growth, which is followed by LinkedIn with 103% and Twitter with 54%. Myspace projects has reduced by 46 percent.
The top five requested skills are PHP, Translation, HTML, Graphic Design and WordPress. iPad app development demand has grown by 86% and the average budget for iPad app development is $1551. As the availability of developers increased, the budget is decreased by 11.5%.
Creative Writing is also one of the skills that have high demand. It has climbed 12 spots, with the increase of 59%. Liran Kotzer, CEO of DoNanza said, “The availability of a variety of writing styles and projects, from creative to technical writing, means that good writers can obtain interesting and lucrative at-home work”.
